G365--The bison are rather erratic; sometimes one can go months on end without seeing them, but lately they've been all over the place!

Harold--Thanks! This is my husband's shot, not mine. We were lucky to have nice weather and cooperative subjects!

Beautiful photo! Are those the type of water buffalos that the Italian employ for their mozarella di bufala? which is delicious but very expensive.

I wish! Good cheese is freakishly expensive around here and it would be great to have some native Mozzarella around. I think those are just regular American bison, but I'm not sure if they are indigenous to this area or were brought in for some reason. Anyhow, they're fun to watch!
